In all seriousness, you could not have picked a better, more caring rescue and adoption organization, then Belly Rub N Grub. We don’t just find our rescues loving homes. We also provide a wealth of support to help you, and your new love remain together for years to come!
What Separates Us from Most
Belly Rub N Grub is unique in the sense that we give our rescues a warm, balanced, home-life experience. Our rescues are not kept in kennel cages all day. Instead, our volunteers interact with our rescues everyday playing with them, running errands with them, bathing and grooming them and yes, especially loving on them! That allows for our rescues to become well-adjusted to human contact, daily routines, and social interactions with people, as well as other pets. We do this for all of our rescues, so they have a smoother transition moving into their new surroundings.

About “Solid”

About “Kofta”
“Kofta” is “Solid’s” and “Kuskoo’s” litter mate and the boss of the three, he is a love bug and very sweet. Like “Solid”, he loves to be loved and won’t leave you alone until he gets enough of you. He likes to be held, hugged, and kissed. He is being raised with and gets along with other cats and large dogs.

About “Tux”
“Tux” is one of the sweetest cats we have. He is playful and can be mild-mannered when he feels like it. Tux will let you know when he wants your attention. He’s not very needy. However, when you pick him up, he will let you scratch behind his ear and love on him for a few minutes, or maybe even longer, depending on his day. After all, he is a cat.
He does love his snuggles at bedtime. He’s a sweetheart. He will follow and lurk at you from a short distance until you say “Hi Tux” He then gives you an “Oh, you’re finally acknowledging me?” kind of look. Now, come pet me!
He is being raised with and gets along with other cats and large dogs.

About “Smudge”
“Smudge” is the brother to both “Screamer” and “Downey” (also available for adoption). Smudge is cute and he knows it. He will either throw his paws in the air to let you know he wants to be picked up, or size you up and jump on you for his lovies.
Oddly, he also likes to supervise litter box cleanings. In fact, he may hop on your shoulder (we think) to make sure the cleaning adheres to his strict standard of cleanliness – smh!.
Smudge also has an adorable (but suspect) look on his face that reads “huh? what? I didn’t do anything!” just like in his adoption photo. He loves being spoiled and loved on, but he still is the boss of his litter.

About “Ms.Maybelline”
“Ms. Maybelline” (The only name HE responds to) was actually abandoned by his owner around Thanksgiving 2024. He was left behind in a supermarket parking lot. Fortunately, he quickly won the heart of a security guard there who could not take his home, but would feed her everyday until we rescued his around Christmas 2024.
Today, Ms. Maybelline is surprisingly trusting and affectionate, appearing to show no signs of trauma from his time on the street. Ms. Maybelline is a normal cat. That is, if I overlook her occasional affectionate head-butts in the middle of the night to have me acknowledge, pet, and love on her. I think it is his way of expressing her gratitude for being so loved and cared for.
Ms Maybelline enjoys snuggling at bedtime, and comes when being called.

About “Hollow”
Hollow was found in the parking lot of a grocery store at six weeks old. He had scabies, ringworm, and fleas. He was feral and for the first night together, he would hiss at me. However, by next morning, Hollow was putty in my hands. He ran to the crate door as soon as I entered his room, wanting to be held and loved. Maybe Hollow was just grateful for having food, water, love, and medical care.
Hollow is a sweetheart, and a zoomie ambassador. When I let the dogs outside, Hollow will hop up on the couch and gently tap my arm to say, Hey, I’m here! Which, if I don’t pet and scratch behind his neck soon enough, he will keep giving me love taps.
Hollow is very loving, but a scrapper with the adult cats. Hollow will get his licks in and then, take off running. So, Hollow is certainly more a lover than he is a fighter.

About “Halo”
Halo had a rough life. She started out as an orphan roaming a trailer park at five weeks old. When we rescued Halo three years later, she was a full time outdoor cat.
Halo is a petite cat weighing only 6 lbs 4 oz, but she is a sassy lil’ thing you can easily crush on.
Halo, is a true survivor. However, due to her traumatic and stressful past, she needs to be adopted into a one pet home. She loves to be loved on and can be vocal at times, but she is a sweet cat that is longing for a home she can make hers and hers only.
